FRENCH TOUCH COLLECTION
Designed and manufactured in Los Angeles, the French Touch Collection encompasses a range of art objects for interiors and the body. Geometric shapes, exposed edges and interlocking elements create a prismatic landscape that is inspired by French house music during the 1990’s, paying homage to experimental artists like Daft Punk, Cassius and Etienne de Crecy. Naturally interactive with light, the dichroic application is combined with puzzle-like lap joints as part of a conceptual demonstration of the way tracks during the period were produced by combining disco samples with filters to create it’s distinctive sound. Its construction allows a luminous color spectrum to reveal itself at every angle.
The French Touch Collection is milled by a CNC machine, flame polished and coated with a hand-applied dichroic film that changes hue and saturation with varying light and shadow.
