Located in the exclusive Gables Estates community in Coconut Grove, Florida, the 20,000-plus square foot sprawling 1980’s home was conceptualized by BEYOND THE WEST to accommodate a growing family. Spaces were designed with intentionality and purpose where there was a place for everything and everything had a place. Volumes were compressed to discern public communal spaces from private family areas. A cohesive narrative tied the rooms together with complementary depth of color, acute attention to detail and richness in texture and materiality.
